A 1:1 scale replica of an actual MK23 pistol, this UTG spring-powered airsoft gun is remarkably authentic. The MK23 fires round 6mm plastic pellets known as BBs, which are propelled out of the gun by compressed air. The advantage of the airsoft pistol, however, is that players can safely train, simulate, or play with the gun without fearing serious injury. The MK23 looks, feels, weighs, and functions just like a real firearm, but is built for casual recreation rather than weaponized use. In fact, the only way you can typically tell a real-steel firearm from an airsoft gun is the blazing orange tip and the BBs that fire when you pull the trigger. The pistol--which offers a velocity of 310 to 320 fps when using 0.12-gram BBs and 220 to 240 fps with 0.2-gram BBs--includes a fake silencer.
Specifications:
not for collectorsReviewed by Richard S. Johnson, 2010-02-26
This is a good "shooter". Construction is solid, weight is adequate
- especially with the silencer attached. Accuracy is very good, as
is the power. With two magazines and the metal silencer included,
it is an excellent value.
The pistol is accurate in size and appearance, as far as it goes.
However, the safeties and slide lock lever are simply molded into
the frame and are not functional.
If you are looking for a collector piece, this does not compare to
the USP's made by HFC or UHC, which have functional levers and
takedown for a similar price.
However, it is a solid, well made shooter and a good value for that
purpose
GoodReviewed by Jennifer M. Phillips, 2010-02-24
I bought this gun as my first pistol and its pretty decent
The pro's would be that it shoots really fast for a spring powered
pistol, the aim is good but not perfect(A little curve up), Also it
looks pretty sweet.
Cons-heavy if your weak-unlike me- kinda big- and kinda hard to
cock
I would proboly recomend this to anybody who's intermediat, and not
weak its a gun thats good for leaving welts If your in close
range
This is a very good gun for backyard battles and ok for field play

Pros and a few cons of the MK23Reviewed by Sam, 2010-02-16
I'm not very good with reviews so I'm just going to make a Pros and
Cons list.
Pros:
Looks awesome
Shoots FAST
Shoots ACCURATELY (.2g bbs are highly recommended)
Unlike other $20 ranged spring pistols, this one has exceptional
quality and an extra magazine.
Comes with a silencer (doesn't really affect anything though) that
makes you look like a hit man.
Each magazine holds a little more than 24 pellets.
The hammer is active when you pull the trigger even if you don't
cock it which makes it fun to play around with.
Safe to say that it looks similar to a USP
Iron sights are painted white which makes aiming fast and
accurate.
Sturdy plastic
Easy to disassemble and reassemble.
Magazine release for both left-handed and right-handed
people.
Open ejection port allows you to clear a jam and see the interior
workings
Again, it looks awesome.
Cons:
Orange tips
Hard to cock back when you first get it (but after you lube it,
it's smooth)
^^^thats it for the cons^^^
Just get this, it's cheap, it's strong, and it's your advantage.
